  • The households & Population (separately for urban & rural areas of a district) have been divided into the following categories on the basis of their total annual disposable income (in Rupees) during 2011-12. The categories are: Rs< 75,000, 75,001 –1,50,000, 1,50,001 – 3,00,000, 3,00,001 – 5,00.000, 5,00,001 – 10,00,000 and > 10,00,000.
  • For the urban areas of districts finer income distribution in the upper income segments is also available. These segments are 10,00,001 – 20,00,000, 20,00,001 – 50,00,000, 50,00,001 – 10,000,000 & >10,000,000. The parameters include Households & Population across each income category.
  • Age distribution of population (separately for urban and rural areas of districts)
  • Time series distribution of urban households (2004-05 till 2011-12)
  • Sex Ratio, Literacy Rate, Population growth rate, Worker growth rate

  • Annual Market Size - Annual Household expenditure on Food, FMCG, Durables, Clothing & Footwear, Miscellaneous Goods and Services separately for Urban & Rural areas within a district. This has been further subdivided in 21 expenditure categories for urban areas of the districts.
