Evolving a Operational and Scalable Model for Building Village level -Water Supply Network (2008)

The Hogenakkal Water Supply and Fluorosis Mitigation Project (HWS&FMP) is being implemented by the Government of Tamil Nadu with loan assistance from JBIC. Indicus undertakes this study to evolve an operational and scalable model for capacity building of village level community based institutions or Village Water & Sanitation Committee to operate and maintain village water supply network in sustainable manner. The study involves the use of a judicious mix of quantitative and qualitative tools using primary and secondary data and documentation analysis. Based on this analysis it suggests how to build a sustainable model for O&M of water supply, benchmarking the allocation of resources. Indicus will also recommend a detailed operational and scalable model for capacity building of all identified stakeholders.
Socio-Economic Profiling of Kolab and Indravati Regions (2003)

A detailed socio-economic profiling of the two regions in one of the most backward parts (Koraput and Kalahandi districts) of the country has been carried out using both primary survey as well as secondary data. The study identifies characteristics, and activities both social and economic that are common across these regions. It also provides directions on how should local participation be encouraged in various socio-economic activities in general, and operation and maintenance of social and physical infrastructure in particular.
Empowering India Electorate (2009)
Google 
The first ever effort to measure performance of constituencies across development parameters. Ten parameters across two points of time (2004 and 2008) have been estimated. These are part of Google effort on providing information to voters. A special page on the Google website (http://google.co.in/lok-sabha2009) has been created to display various aspects of the Lok Sabha Elections 2009. The data from Indicus is a crucial part of this presentation.
