Though it is sometimes assumed that there is a direct link between low income and income inequality and health conditions, it is not so in reality. This study is conducted as part of the Analytical and Advisory Activity (AAA) in India's context with the view to develop an empirical basis for scaling up interventions to improve reproductive and child health of the poor
