Abstract
The study analyzed the costs, benefits and efficacy of the 25 national level nutrition relevant schemes in India, including employment generation, mother and child health schemes; micronutrient and essential nutrient programs. It estimated the cost effectiveness of the schemes over the years of implementation, especially for the poor and marginalized. It compiled and tabulated under a single table, the scattered evaluation data by government, non-government and international agencies.
