In each of the aspects, Jharkhand’s status in comparison to other states, especially the three new states is done. Further, a comparative analysis of various districts of Jharkhand is also done and the districts are ranked based on various socio economic indicators. The report included the ‘Industrial profile of Jharkhand’ i.e. the composition of industries, employment provided and consumption of raw materials by each industry in the state. The report identified the fastest growing and top employment generating industries of the state as well as the top three industries in each district on the basis of output and employment.
