Abstract
This paper takes the view that by improving infrastructure especially road infrastructure the government would inadvertently create conditions where the number of villages would fall as fewer villages would lead to lower costs of supplying essential services. In other words, not only would the government’s fiscal be affected positively but it would also lead to better lifestyles for the masses.
