Climate change and changing farm practices

Adaptation to climate change is perhaps one of the most issues of daily life, especially for countries like India, where more than 60% of the population depends completely on agriculture sector. Apart from the issue of food security the concern is also the reduction in production of other crops. Already the food crop production in India has been lowered by about 18% due to erratic rainfall caused by changing climate. (more…)
