Born in 1966. I was trained as an economist. Got a PhD from Boston University in 1996. Worked for a while in pricing derivatives in the US, hated it. Returned to India, joined NCAER, led many economic policy related studies. Loved it, but got bored after a while. Started Indicus in 2001, and have not had a chance to get bored yet. Have studied just about every sector in the last few years. Dislike government intervention in economy and society.
