Offline Hunger, Online Applications
The world indeed needs to know a lot to end hunger. And if 59 million children around the world go to school hungry the time’s long up on us.
Yet we know we haven’t given up on it as yet! The desired results have not been seen- across the world. The strategies and tactics reform to deal with it. There are national & international bodies dealing with this issue after all.
Noteworthy is a new attempt- a grand standing of internet communities, web hosting providers and web application developers to deal with hunger. (which is here- http://wall.wfp.org/)
Sounds interesting. And yes, we hear Drew Barrymore’s agreed to contribute her ‘face’ pic to be flashed on the webapp. Hunger could never have been dealt with more sexily.
And yes in all the chimes ringing you could consider donating- for eliminating the scourge that hunger is.
